Joanne Rowling was born the 31th of July 1965 in Chipping Sodury and she is now 46 years old. She is a British author best known as the creator of the Harry Potter books. She found the idea on a train trip from Manchester to London in 1990. For all the books in the Harry Potter series, she earned a total of 560 million pounds or 641.478904 Euros. J. K. Rowling’s first book was Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone or the Philosopher’s Stone. It won the children's best-seller in 1998. It was a grand success!!
In Portugal, she met her husband and later had a daughter named Madeline. Sadly, she then divorced with Mr. Rowling. Back in England, Joanne decided to live alone in Edinburgh with her daughter. Later, she became a French teacher. This wasn’t an easy job with her child around… She decided to write her book when her daughter slept. A few months later, the American rights were bought for an amazing price, and Rowling said good-bye to teaching.YOUPPPIIIIII!!!
