100 Days
Mrs Waddington and Mr Tyson organised three activities for primary school children. They had to find a 100 ways of saying 100 and looked at the similarities between languages. CM1 children with Mr Tyson talked about the Anglo Saxon influences on English, from where we get 'hundred' like 'hundert' in German, and the French influence with words containing 'cent' like 'cents', 'century', etc.
