Roald Dahl was born on September 13, 1916. He was a writer. His childhood experiences very much affected him as a writer; you can see this in his book “Matilda”.
In this book you can see a very bad teacher. Well if you return back to time in somewhere around 1920, these things are everywhere, in every school!
First: he was wearing horrible schools uniform.
Second (the worst): he could be beaten by teachers for little mistakes. The worst of these beatings were so long that the teacher
had to stop to smoke his pipe at little moments.
In 1943, Dahl wrote his first book, “The Gremlins”. He has also write a second book “James And The Giant Peach”.
He wrote all these other books:

Why I like Roald Dahl
The first books of Roald Dahl that I read was in French: it was “Fantastic Mr Fox”. I liked it even if it wasn’t in English.
The second one was at Christmas. I was given “Charlie And The Chocolate Factory.”
At last, I’ve read “George’s Marvellous Medicine.”
Well so I liked this books and its author
Roald Dahl. His books are funny.
Roald Dahl died November 23, 1990.
