Jacqueline Wilson









Jacqueline Wilson was born on the 17 December 1945 in Bath.

Her father was called Harry and her mother Margaret.

When she was a child she lived a long time in Kingston upon Thames where she went to Latchmere Primary School. She had lots of imagination and loved to make up stories.

She often read books by Noel Streatfield. At nine years old she wrote her first “novel”.

She has a daughter called Emma that inspired her to write books about problems in real life. She is married to Joseph Charles Wilson, a politic man of the United States. Jacqueline Wilson has won many awards.30 million books by Jacqueline Wilson have been sold.
